Christmas in Manchester

"Christmas can be a personal thing. It's observed and celebrated by Christians and non- Christians and it is an integral part of the holiday season. With its snowy themes, Christmas trees, gifts and feasts, it's a time of loving and giving. It's a magical time for children. For many, it's the winter holidays - a time with family and friends but without the religious attachment. Christmas can also be a time for reflection; a time of remembering loved ones."

I tried to capture the essence of Christmas in Manchester by using colour (composition and exposure), movement (shutter speed, panning), reflections (light and composition), silhouette (exposure and viewpoint) and pattern (composition and viewpoint).
